Bliss (b. 1998, Lusaka) is a Congolese interdisciplinary artist based in Montreal. their practice explores the ( )motion, the nuanced interplay of humans and the inanimate. they capture rhythms and choreography inherent in everyday experiences, offering a direct response to their surrounding environment ­–in media res. the result is a diverse body of work that traverses the realms of documentation, (re)presentation and (re)creation


that’s what i write to sound “professional”, what do you think ?  i often feel unsatisied with these singular (trials of) explanation of my (he)art practices. truly i create out of necessity, out of wanting to stay alive, out of anything and everything. so creating feels like timestamps which anchors my memory and time. for the next year this is where my archive will live
